Rayence sold fifty-thousand intraoral sensors worldwide
Rayence, the Korea’s largest manufacturer of the X-ray detector, reached the sales volume of fifty-thousand intra-oral sensors worldwide.
The Intra-oral sensor is a digital X-ray device which is placed inside of a patient’s mouth to check the condition of damaged tooth.
Until now, the intraoral analog film is still accounted for 60% of the global intraoral X-ray market.
Yet, in recent years, the market showed a rapid shift toward the digital sensor.
As the digital intraoral sensor rose in the market, the sales of Rayence’s intraoral sensors also accelerated. Since the company first entered the global
market in 2006, the sales volume of Rayence’s intraoral sensor never showed dropping. Finally, in June 2016, the record showed that fifty-thousand
intra-oral sensors have been sold worldwide.
For the past five years, Rayence has stood no.1 in global intraoral sensor market . Now, the company is anticipating to add another year to
this record. In 2015, Rayence received the world’s attention after successfully developing ‘EzSensor Soft’. This innovative device bends comfortably inside
of patient’s mouth, minimizing pains that patients might feel during the operation. In 2016, Rayence started to sell EzSensor Soft in the global market and
it is already making a new record.
Rayence CEO Jeong Hoon Hyun remarked, “The shifting trend in the global intra-oral sensor market and innovative power of Rayence produced a great outcome ”. He continued, “since Rayence is now entering industrial, veterinary and medical X-ray markets based on the company's innovative technologies,
we will continue to create new niche markets and take a lead.”
