Rayence shows a double-digit growth during 1Q 2018

20180423

Rayence announced today its fiscal first quarter results for 2018.

The company reported the net sales of $26.4 million, an increase of 15.7 percent from the year-ago quarter and the operating profit of $ 4.79 million which is up 21.3% year on year. In sum, both the sales and profit showed a double-digit growth during the first quarter of 2018, upholding the trend from the last year.

The impressive record in 1Q 2018 came as the selling of TFT detector grew equally in the company’s main markets such as United States, China and South Korea. The sales of CMOS detector and Intraoral sensor were also lifted during the same period. The sales volumes of TFT detector increased in Central and South America, as OSKO which Rayence purchased in 2016, boosted selling in these regions. Growing demand for industrial CMOS detector and the success of Green CT also helped the company to expand its market influence.

Recently, Rayence’s total production for intraoral sensor reached over 80,000, still holding up the title as ‘the biggest player’ in the global intraoral sensor market. The company expects postive reports to be continued in coming quarters.
