Rayence Appoints New CEO

Rayence(www.rayence.com), a leading player in digital X-ray detector and system markets, has named Kim Tae-woo as the new CEO.  

 

Kim recently led VATECH Ewoo Research Institute (VERI) which is dedicated to developing core technologies of detectors and X-ray systems.    

Under his leadership, VATECH experienced the boost of technological competitiveness and market shares in recent years. His experience as a chief of production and R&D at VATECH has also provided him general oversight on the productions as well as R&D.

 

Rayence will continue driving innovations in TFT detector, using its ability to construct its own TFT panel and production lines.

Meanwhile in CMOS detector, the company seeks to expand its market shares in medical and industrial detector markets while increasing global sales of dental detectors.

 

The sales of Rayence’s intraoral sensor is surging in the emerging market such as India. Using its strong sales in dental market as a foothold, the company will focus on the growth in medical and industrial detector markets.

 

Kim Tae-woo, the newly appointed CEO of Rayence, remarked “Innovation is a key for leading global detector market; based on its competitiveness in TFT and CMOS detector, Rayence will continue expanding  its footprints in medical and industrial detector market while positioning in the market as a premium brand.”
