VATECH and Rayence were chosen for World Class Korean Products, Paving the way for No.1 in the Global Market

Five products of VATECH (CEO Ro Chang-joon and Samuel Ahn, www.vateh.co.kr) and Rayence (CEO Hyun Jeong-Hoon, www.rayence.com) awarded ‘World Class Korean Product’ by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and KOTRA(Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency). Already leading players in global dental imaging and digital X-ray solution market, the certificate of World Class Korean products will help both companies to advance into the global market as the No.1 player.

 

VATECH was chosen 8 years in a row for its digital Panoramic Dental X-ray while Rayence, a VATECH’s subsidiary earned the four certificates by digital X-ray detector (four years in a row), intraoral sensor (three years in a row), and ‘bendable’ intraoral sensor (two years in a row). This year, Rayence’s industrial X-ray detector was added to the list, making the total number of certificate rose from three to four.

 

Rayence’s industrial X-ray detector is used for testing flaws and detecting cracks inside of power generators, NDT or security checkpoint at the airport, military base and post office.

 

The total of five products manufactured from VATECH and Rayence were awarded for their renowned quality and exceptional market share. As of 2016, VATECH’s digital Panoramic X-ray is holding 70% of Korean Dental Market while enjoying the no.3 position in the global dental market. Rayence’s digital intraoral sensor has been ranked no.1 in the global market share. The newly added Rayence’s industrial X-ray is also expected to sweep the North American and Europe Market where NDT(Non-Destructive Testing) market enjoys a steady growth.

 

In the coming year, Both VATECH and Rayence are planning a vigorous market expansion. VATECH plans to sweet the global market by strengthening its software wing and satisfying customers with exceptional quality assurance. Rayence plans to expand its presence in North, Central and South America while becoming a top player in segments of the X-ray market where the company already enjoys a considerable success such as medical, veterinary and industrial X-ray market.

 

World Class Korean Products are the selected products among the top 5 in terms of global market share or products with high potential of advancing into the global market within the five years. The Ministry of Industry and Trade and Kotra annually examine candidates announce the World Class Korean Product list by the end of each year.
