VATECH announced 50.2 billion won in sales and 7.3% growth in 3Q

VATECH, a leading global player in dental imaging racked up 50.2 million won in sales in 3Q 2016, showing a 7.3 percent growth from the last year. The company also reported an operation profit of 10 million won, up 21.1 percent from the previous year. 

VATECH makes radiographic equipment used in medical, dental and veterinary fields. “The mounting demand for our three-dimensional (3D) imaging system in the global market underpinned the third quarter results.” said an official from the company.

He added “Exports of high value-added 3D products jumped 21 percent year-on-year”

Among overall 3D product, VATECH’s flagship item the PaX-i3D smart accounted for 54 percent of global sales.

VATECH CEO Samuel Ahn said the strong result would further boost the company’s status in the world market.

“We’ve established a strategy of leading the advanced markets with innovative products while expanding our influence in emerging markets.” “This approach has worked well”

He added "We will make efforts to sharpen our technical edge and expand our markets with the aim of becoming the global top player through garnering leadership in the new Asian markets on top of Europe and the United States."
