The number of pets visiting hospitals during the Korean New Year(Seollal) period increased by 118% compared to usual, with the main cause identified as gastrointestinal diseases due to ingestion of human food.

Woorien analyzed clinical data from its cloud PMS before the Korean New Year(Seollal), publishing the top 5 reasons for pet visits during this period. (...) Many dogs showed symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea after ingesting leftover holiday food, bone fragments, and packaging materials, prompting hospital visits.
