Seasoned executive who led the company from new business planning to growth in the North American market
Woorien will strengthen products and services for Korean veterinary practices and expand globally, aiming to become a digital platform company for animal healthcare
SEOUL, November 4, 2026 – Woorien, a specialist in veterinary diagnostic equipment and electronic medical records (EMR), announced today that it has appointed Leo Park, head of its U.S. subsidiary MyVet Imaging ("Woorien USA"), as its new Chief Executive Officer.
With this appointment, Woorien is promoting an internal leader with experience in new business planning and overseas operations. The company aims to strengthen its competitiveness in veterinary markets at home and abroad. Drawing on its close ties with Korean veterinarians, Woorien will reflect the needs of clinical practice in its products and services. It will also build on the business capabilities accumulated in North America to broaden its growth base.

CEO Park is an experienced executive who has handled new business discovery, overseas sales, and local subsidiary management across major affiliates of Vatech Networks, the healthcare group to which Woorien belongs. He began his career in this field in 2008 as team leader of the veterinary imaging business at Vatech. He then served as head of the U.S. subsidiary of Rayence in 2011 and as team leader of New Business Planning at Vatech in 2017. Since 2018, he has led Woorien USA.
During his tenure at Woorien USA, he drove sales growth by expanding transactions with local companies and building out distribution networks. Rayence and Woorien's cumulative sales in North America surpassed KRW 150 billion during this period. Centered on the "MyVet CT Plus," a Spiral CT designed exclusively for small animals, and on veterinary panoramic and dental CT systems, Woorien USA pioneered the North American market, the world's largest veterinary market. It also established business relationships with leading veterinary imaging companies and major distributors.
Building on CEO Park's business experience, Woorien plans to connect and expand the strengths of its existing businesses, including imaging equipment and EMR, and to evolve into a digital platform company for animal healthcare. In Korea, the company will incorporate veterinarians' feedback into its products and services so that animal hospitals can focus more on patient care. Overseas, it will leverage the customer and distribution networks built in North America to expand local partnerships and strengthen its business foundation. Through these efforts, Woorien aims to create a healthcare environment that delivers greater value to veterinary professionals and pet owners dedicated to life with companion animals, as well as to the broader industry ecosystem.
